This Privacy Policy explains how EnergyETA Solutions Private Limited ("EnergyETA", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website. It is written in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules. By using the website or submitting your details, you agree to the practices described here.
This policy covers the website only. Data processed through the ETA+ platform, mobile app and IoT devices under a customer agreement is governed by that agreement.
1. Data we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us, and limited technical data:
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Case study requests: your name, email, mobile number (optional) and company name.
- Webinar registration: the details you enter in the registration form, which is hosted by Google Forms.
- Audit bookings and enquiries: details you share when booking through Calendly, messaging us on WhatsApp, emailing or calling us.
- Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and referring site, collected through Google Analytics cookies.
2. How we use it
- To send the newsletter, case studies and webinar details you asked for.
- To respond to enquiries and schedule walk-through audits and demos.
- To follow up about our products and services where you have shown interest.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
- To keep the website secure and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or contact us, and for legitimate uses permitted by law. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 7). Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.
4. Third-party services
Some features are provided by third parties who process data under their own privacy policies: Google (Analytics, Forms and YouTube video embeds), Calendly (meeting booking) and WhatsApp (messaging). YouTube videos on this site load only when you press play. We also use cloud hosting providers to run the website and store form submissions.
5. Sharing
We share personal data only:
- with service providers who help us run the website and our business, under confidentiality obligations;
- with implementation partners, where needed to respond to your request and only with your agreement;
- when required by law, court order or a government authority.
6. Storage and security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data, including encrypted connections and access controls. Our platform is ISO 27001 certified and regularly undergoes VAPT by a CREST-accredited auditor. Some service providers may store data outside India. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent;
- unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.

8. Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and basic site functions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, though some features may not.
9. Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
